Competency Guidelines 

 

The competency guidelines outlined in the Professional Standards provide a framework for continuing professional development by identifying the skills, knowledge and attitudes required by all career development practitioners. They are practical and provide a mechanism for recognizing the skills, knowledge and experience of practitioners, may be used to guide training providers on course content and inform employers about the appropriate skills and knowledge of practitioners.
