Membership Categories

 

  • Life - For a full member who has completed a minimum of 10 years membership in ICEDC and is in good standing and on payment of dues or an Associate member who has completed 15 years in ICEDC and is in good standing and on payment of dues or for founder members of ICEDC.

 

  • Fellow - an honour bestowed upon ICEDC members who have shown evidence of unusual and outstanding contributions or performance in the field of career guidance and practice. Fellow status requires that a person's work has had a national impact on the field of career guidance and practice beyond a local, state or regional level.  

 

  • Professional - Open to any career guidance and practice professional who has an accredited/recognized degree/qualification with at least five years of working experience in the field.  Must present proof of academic credentials upon request.

 

  • Associate Open to any career guidance and practice professional who has an accredited/recognized degree/qualification with less than five years of working experience in the field.

 

  • Affiliate - Open to any career guidance and practice professional who does not have an accredited/recognized degree/qualification, but is interested in or involved in working with young people or promoting the work of ICEDC . This includes school parent teacher association members.

 

  • Student - Open to all students who are pursuing an accredited/recognized degree/qualification in career development and who are interested in the field of career guidance and practice.

 

  • Honorary - Nominated by the National Executive Committee for a person who has achieved a high degree of respect and competency in their respective field of work and who is interested in promoting the interests of ICEDC.

 

  • Retired – Those who have retired from the counseling, coaching or vocational guidance professionand have been members of ICEDC for atleast 5 years.

 

  • Corporate - Organisations committed to career development in their workplace and want to engage with schools, colleges and university students and community to create work ready graduates which meet industry needs.

 

  • Institution – Education Institutions such as schools, universities, colleges, institutes committed to enhancing the employability and employment outcomes of their graduates and with proven track record of preparing and placing their students successfully in the workforce.
